Question
My husband thinks I need to provide more structure for our 2, 4 and 6 year old. This has risen out of increasing complaints about boredom, fighting between the kids and increasing misbehavior (which I have asked separate questions about).
I would like for them to find ways to keep themselves entertained. I don't feel like it is my job to be their social or event coordinator. However, I wonder if their is a way I can provide more structure for them without entertaining them. We are tired of being asked to "play something" or give them an "idea" about what they should do. But is there another way I can help them find constructive things to do without enabling them?
