Question
Our 3.5 year old daughter’s behavior is very out of control when we visit relatives. She thinks it’s her opportunity to get as much attention from the adults as she possibly can (especially grandparents.) Recently during a visit, she randomly started talking about death and was saying she wished she had special powers so that my husband and I would be dead so that her grandma could be her mom. And every time I would approach her and grandma while they were doing something she’d tell me to go away. This is very difficult behavior for me and I’m wondering what your advice is for how to handle her attention-seeking behavior. Thank you!
