Question
We just built an in-law apartment at my daughter's house and I'm moving in soon. I take care of my 3 yr old and 16 month old granddaughters. They are excellent with me but at home it is complete chaos. The 3 yr old throws trantrums, refuses to get dressed, have her hair combed, won't use the potty, doesn't eat well and basically has control of her parents. If her mother is present she won't do anything for me. I've given my daughter many of your columns but she either ignores them or isn't consistent. How can I help my daughter control her daughter and which of your books would be the best reference for her? We have a great relationship and I'm concerned that me living there 24/7 will change that unless we can get the 3 yr old under control. Thanks.
