13 yo: summer camp homesickness

Question

My 13 yo daughter is in the second of a four-week sleepaway camp that she wanted to go to. She was experiencing normal homesickness, then was fine, and then fell apart today when we had our first scheduled call. She wants to come home, needs her normal routine, friends, etc. Counselors assure us she's made friends, that she was doing well, but seemed to be upset today. She wants us to take her home Sunday when we come to visit for parent's day. I am inclined to make her stay the course, and I told her so, and have reassured her that she will be fine. If I find she truly is miserable, beyond homesickness, should I take her home, or continue to make her stay? I truly think it's just homesickness-I want her to stay. Thanks.
