Question
Our 8 year old son is allowed 30 minutes of tablet time per day to play Minecraft - after school work and the day's chores are done. He was caught with the device in his room (which is not allowed regardless and not the first infraction) and it was taken away for approximately 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks, he was allowed 30 minutes per day again. Second offense occurred, same as the first. The device is now taken away again in the middle of a 8 week hiatus. Third offense, he was caught with his sister's tablet in his room. Our consequence of taking the device away obviously isn't working. What do you suggest?
