Question
Hello, my son is 2 years and 3 months old. He has not had a full evaluation for autism yet but is showing signs and is nonverbal. He is in desperate need of a haircut but anytime we have taken him anywhere he has an absolute meltdown of screaming hitting fighting crying. We have tried giving him a haircut at home and it goes just as bad.. I have found a place close by that focuses on kids only do you have any suggestions to try to make this process easier for him? When I have taken him to a salon I have brought his tablet, his favorite snacks, and other toys that he likes and that did not help at all as soon as someone starts trying to cut his hair.
