Question
I have a 4 year old in pre K and we have seen a change in her since school started. Last Friday, she got in trouble for the first time since starting school at 18 months. ( this is a private school that we want her to go to through 8th grade, so taking her out is not an option at this time). She has been hanging around another girl that has much older siblings (4th and 7th grade sisters). Many of the problems that we are having from our daughter we are finding out she is learning alot of them from her friend at school. I realize that there will be "one of those kids" in every classroom from here on - but she is only 4 years old and I am trying to figure out how to get our sweet daughter back - what would you suggest? she got put in time out for not listening to a story being read because she and the other girl were being silly together. Oh - and we just started a rewards chart which she loves earning her "stars" - being a good listener, not biting her nails, ( we found out the other little girl bites her nails) etc...
