Question
My 12 year old son has developed quite an arrogant attitude over the last few years. Not over achievements, but seems to just like one-upping people and using a tone to let them know they made a mistake, etc. I let him know when I hear it that he is being condescending and rude. Is this the kind of thing to punish for? The only thing he loves to do is read--day and night--so my instinct is to take that way until he breaks this habit. Or is this just his personality? Please help--any advice is gladly appreciated!
