Question
My cousin and her family were here recently. Her son, 4 1/2, has been getting worse behavior wise for the past year. This time around, he punched my 6 year old hard in the back, threw a box fan at her, threw a toy at her eye, slapped her in the face. Then he peed on our dog.The mom claims he has a "emotional disorder" but hasn't taken him to see anyone. She also gives him zero discipline...her form of it is either put him in the other room for five minutes or worse, to soothe him when he hit HER by saying "Bunny, it's ok". She claims some book told her that she should be soothing to him. Emotional disorder?
