Question
My ex has our 3 year old son every Thursday night until Saturday night, every weekend. Most weekends I hand our son over to his dad he is in good shape. When I get him back a few days later, he is a different kid (disrespectful and disobedient). I work SO hard to discipline consistently whenever I have him and it seems that his dad unravels most everything I worked so hard to achieve. The transitions back and forth are really hard on our son. I'm trying to discern how to be consistent with applying your parenting philosophy while still taking the unique circumstances into account. How do these rules apply?
