13 year old Lazy About Chores

Question

My 13 year old daughter chooses not to clean her room or do chores unless specifically reminded. What are some consequences that are age-appropriate that would likely motivate her to take the initiative to keep her room clean and do her chores without needing reminders each day. She does not have a phone or rely heavily on technology, nor does she have a super-active social life. Is sending a teenager to bed an hour earlier than their usual bedtime an age-appropriate consequence or does that tend to backfire once children become teens?
