Question
We have a 6yo, 4yo, and 2yo sharing a bedroom. When one of the older children is sent to the room for misbehaving, whether it be for an hour or the entire day, should the other two be allowed in there to play with the confined sibling? Their bedroom is currently stripped down to just beds, clothes, books, and "lovey" toys while we try to cure our oldest two of disobedience and disrespect. So it's very boring for whoever is in there alone (as it's supposed to be), and oddly enough, there is less fighting when the misbehaving sibling has a visitor than at any other time. (Fwiw, we tried giving the 6yo her own room, but they prefer to share for now.)
