Question
My husband and I are older parents in our 60s. We still have five children at home. The child we are having problems with has just turned 13. She has everything going for her, she is bright, pretty and athletic. However, she has a history of lying and is now stealing! Our kids have a computer in our family room and one tablet to share in order to do their homework. They don't have iPods or phones. So, our daughter went to a friend's house and stole an ipod! We are absolutely clueless as to what to do to stop this behaviour. Our oldest adult daughter says we need to give her some of the electronics the other kids in her class have and that we parent too old fashioned. She foes to a Christian school and is the only one without a phone. Her teacher told me this. Please give us some advice! Thank you!
