Question
My 5 year old son has recently started playing t-ball and I'm concerned about his "unsportsmanlike" behavior. He says things like "bad game" to the opposing team and when he's in the field he tells other players "bad try".
This is not just while playing sports. When he is with me and sees bad behavior he says things like "I LOVE it!".
I've reprimanded him, made him apologize, explained why it's wrong, done "how would you feel", and taken away all TV except some PBS.
He seems to think it's neat to be mean, aggressive and bullyish. PLEASE advise me on how to handle this. It certainly isn't how we act at home. I don't know why he would think being mean is cool.
