Question
Thanks for your advice on allowing the 16yo to change schools. The primary reason she wanted to attend this new school was because she was miserable at the high school. All the kids are losers, the teachers are stupid, the classes are boring, etc.. She is never satisfied. She is one of those people that creates chaos and enjoys misery. The grass is always greener. Case in point, we went to a small Bahamian island for my wedding and she complained the entire time - why didn't we rent a nicer house, why wasn't the car nicer, why didn't we stay on the Atlantic side instead of the Caribbean side. You name it, she complains about it. Knowing this child, she will be miserable once she returns to the high school. Any advice on how to handle her inevitable complaining?
