Question
My son and his wife of 18 years with children; girl, 16 and boy,13 are just beginning discussions of divorce. She has been the primary bread winner for 7 years while he has been under employed. He has been a major care giver. They want to do the best for the children and seem to be headed toward an amicable divorce. My son wants to live near them so he can help getting the 13 year old son to his activities and do other things with the children in general. I've read where you tend not to favor 50/50 custody arrangement for stability reasons. These children are very close to both parents. Suggestions?
