Question
I have a 2 year and 10 month old son, and a new baby brother who is 6 weeks old. The older son has seemingly to us (parents, grandparents, sitters) done well adjusting. He seems a bit more clingy to me, the mother, but nothing terrible. He is in a preschool program 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, and has been since 18 months. He has had no reports of aggressive behavior to date that we know of. His teacher has reported to us that he has exhibited very aggressive behavior all of a sudden towards the other children. I have spoken with him very seriously and made him apologize to the teacher. I am at a loss with what to do if (when) it continues. I don't think spanking in this instance is appropriate, but need some guidance on what to do to address it immediately. Thank You very much for any assistance.
