9 year old : Following through on responsibilities

Question

My daughter is 9, and I don't want to micromanage her, but I'm unsure of how to handle her failing to pick up after herself. From leaving clothes on the bathroom floor to toys and shoes left in the living room, I'm looking for suggestions to manage this. She is not defiant. I found her voluntarily putting my folded clothes in my drawers, yet her bedroom needed tidying. She just happened be in my room and decided to help. I think it's more of an issue with distraction, not prioritizing and just focusing on the next fun thing. I sometimes catch her rushing to finish and not putting things in their proper place.
