4 year old : Thows-up Dinner

Question

Our son just turned 4 this month. He has a great appetite and loves all breakfast foods and eats many different lunch items. However, when it comes to eating dinner, he refuses to try it. We made a rule that he has to have a small bite of the main dish (typically a kid friendly dish) or else he goes straight to bed. He will eat the foods at dinner he likes, then (after some loud complaining) he will take a small little bite of the main dish. He then throws-up immediately. (not spitting-out, actual vomiting) I don't want to be a short-order cook, but if sent to bed hungry, he won't sleep (and neither will we).
