Question
My 5 year old son always seems to need to be with someone. I send him off while I am busy, but it doesn't last. I can't get him to go away from me and play unless he plays with another child. He isn't content being alone EVER. When I tell people he doesn't play they ask what he does. I'm not really sure other than follow me around. He might drive a car in the kitchen while I am cooking and that is about it. How can I get him to be happy with himself and not need to always be with other people? The only way he won't follow me is I put TV on. Is this something he should see a psychologist about?
