Hello again! My 8 year old son was diagnosed with tics at age 3. A major trigger to these tics is anxiety. Having anxiety myself it is no surprise I’ve raised an anxious kid. That coupled with the current pandemic has lead his tics to become exasperated. His neurologist has suggested medicating him but at the same time addressing the anxiety via therapy. I would like to try therapy /coping skills prior to medicating. While we wait for a therapy apt, do you have any suggestions to relieve an anxious boy? For reference, we do not allow any video games or much screen time other than school so no need to suggest taking away electronics. Thank you in advance.
