Question
Hi! My 13 year old son spends a lot of time riding bikes and fishing around our neighborhood with a group of other boys. Today he physically attacked one of the other boys (pushing, shoving, punching) because of something he said. I was not there but he showed me a video of it (taken by another boy on his cell phone) almost like he was proud of himself. He said this boy has attacked him in the past so it was his turn to get even. I have met this other boy several times and he has even been to my house. They seem to have a very up and down relationship. I explained how disappointed I was that he resorted to physical violence and how it was all now caught on video which I am sure has been shared around lots of times. I know boys will be boys but this crosses the line. How would you recommend I handle the situation?
