Question
Our 9 year old son has gone to far. He got so angry today that he threatened to kill himself by grabbing a kitchen knife. When mum tried to grab it off him he was jabbing at her. After it calmed down he said he didn't mean it and didn't want to hurt anyone but he was just so angry. This is the second time he grabbed a knife and threatened to kill himself. Last time he got so angry over having to redo his homework.
He is mostly a kind boy very affectionate but this is so disturbing. Do we seek medical advice or is he just very spoilt?
