Question
Should we be concerned about a 6 year old child taking things that do not belong to him/her and hiding the item or lying about how it was obtained. Two incidents in less than one week. One item taken from a playmate at school and child claimed it was gift from the teacher. The other item taken from a retail store and hidden in clothing as we left the store. Found upon arrival at home. Both times, we took the child and the item back, required the child to say what they did and apologize for doing it.
