Question
My 7yo daughter has spent the night out a handful times with friends and did fine. She spends the night with grandparents frequently without issues. Recently, she has declined invitations to spend the night with friends. She would rather them spend the night with us. She tried to spend the night at a friends and we got a phone call to come get her (she was crying and wanted to come home, obviously inconvenient to both sets of parents). She has been invited to a spend the night party with 4 friends and was really excited about this. But since the invitation, she got worried and asked if she could go to party and if I would pick her up before bedtime. Your thoughts?
She also has night terrors (which she has never had a friends/grandparents house). But curious if this plays a part.
