Question
Our oldest son is in kindergarten and over the course of 3-4 weeks has begun to get reports of "lollygagging" with his schoolwork and how they are "concerned with his lack of focus and getting his work accomplished" (are they trying to get us to label him?). We know he's capable of getting it done (he earned the highest marks you can for kindergarten) he's just not motivated to do it. We've suggested the daily report card and his teacher doesn't seem to be interested. Any ideas on how to nip this behavior in the bud asap? Thanks in advance!
