Question
My son (I adopted out of foster care) has gotten way worse lately with his behavior in school. he has been out of the garden for over 2 months. Today when I dropped him off, the school said they think he has SI disorder. What the heck? I did some research. Seems it is not yet a recognized "disorder". I went through the symptom checklist and it was confusing. My son had a few of the symptoms but I would say every child does. What is your take on this? and of course we are talking meds if he is diagnosed but not "ones as bad as Ritalin"...I just want my life back...
