Question
Would you mind giving me your thoughts about PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Support), a school program that is in a small percentage of public schools but is increasing in its popularity? Also, would you mind if I quote you as a means to gather more support then use the quote as a small part of a presentation to the school committee in the hopes that they take a second look at what this program is likely to do to our school system and the children in the long run?
I say this program is going to hurt the kids that don't need it and push the kids that do need some type of "intervention" more away from the goal of the program, in the long run.
