Not sure if this is the proper forum, however, I trust your judgement so much that I want to ask here. I am getting ready this Sept 2014 to teach and I was wondering if there is an author you recommend. As a parent, it is especially important that I am a teacher that other parents can approve of. It is a private school, so I have the ability to not have to worry about all the public politics. If there is someone you can recommend in order to have respectable control of the class, I would greatly appreciate it. I plan to take the summer to read, research and study how to discipline the 5th grade children.
