Question
We are seeing a pattern with my 13 y/o sons grades. In 4 classes he is working below his ability. Now, his ability is A work and he is getting B's.
We don't see him studying, although he says the work is much harder this year. It is rare he even brings work home. He is in all advanced classes. Everything is based around getting things done quickly to watch TV or get on x-box. It is mid-term, do we institute a consequence? For example, no electronics during the week. I feel like we're punishing him for B's, but we're not seeing any effort on his part.
