Question
Recently, my 10 year old grandson (who is very smart and is described by his parents as "quirky" and "creative") gave me a birthday card that shocked me. I thought it inappropriate for a grandmother. I was shocked that his parents (my son and daughter-in-law) would let him select this card. I do not remember what I said, if anything. The card had a cartoon picture of a boy on the front and the text said "My butt itches", inside it read, "I thought you would like to know". What would have been an appropriate response to my grandson?
