Question
Our 20 month old, happy independent little girl, is suddenly throwing things when we say no to her with the angriest look!. She'll follow requests to put down an item she shouldn't have, but then hits the wall or throws a toy and cries. It's kind of funny that she does listen, but then vents. We tell her to pick the thrown item up sternly then distract her to something else. Anything else we should be doing to prevent a progression at this young age? Any deviance from routine is also met with anger.
