Question
My son (age 10) and my daughter (age 8) argue and fight, but it is mostly my son who antagonizes his sister and she ends up telling on him to us. It happens ALL day long. I try to not take sides but end up giving a consequence to my son because he is not leaving her alone and not taking no for an answer from her. The consequences do not even seem to work! She tries to walk away from him but he keeps following her and saying "mean" things.
I have read some articles on this from John and he says to completely let the kids figure it out on their own and to give a consequence to the tattle teller as well. I'm not sure how i feel about this since i know it is my son who can be unruly and not listen. What should i do? Thanks!!!
