Question
My 3 month shy of 7 year old boy won’t wipe when he goes to the bathroom which results in poop in his underwear. I’ve taught him how to wipe, but he says he doesn’t like it. I make him clean out his underwear and he still doesn’t wipe. Sometimes he tells me he is wiping, but the evidence doesn’t lie. I don’t check him or micromanage him, when he goes, I just wait until he changes his underwear and that’s when I know. Today I grounded him from his friend’s house. Is this appropriate, or is there something else I should be doing? Thank you.
