Question
My 7 year old son has told me he watches films which are 12+, scary, include swearing, witchcraft (which goes against my Christian Faith) when he stays with his Dad. My son doesn’t seem very bothered by them and likes being allowed to watch them but they are totally inappropriate. He comes back saying strange things, telling me his Dad has said swear words and mistreats his girlfriend and the way his Dad speaks about women to him is disgusting.
I’ve raised my concerns to the UK children’s service and I am currently building up a report of issues to try and seize contact or request his father takes parenting courses but how do I talk to my son about what he is exposed to at his dads house?
