Question
5yr old daughter, in kindergarten, when told she HAD to wear a jacket ( it was 40 degrees ) outside to catch the bus said she didn’t want to wear it because she would look fat. What to I say? I was stunned. She is nowhere near fat, and I told her that, and said it made mommy sad to hear her say that. My husband and I don’t talk about losing weight at home, so I assume she’s hearing it at school. What should I do?
