Question
Hello!
I would like to ask for your advice on how to work on instilling manners into our oldest daughter (3.5 years).
We expect her to say please and thank you (like we expect that of ourselves also) and also to address older people with terms of respect (our mother tongue is different from English but it is comparable to the French who say "vous" instead of "tu" to older people...). Our approach now is that we either correct her or wait until she gets it right. Is this the way to go?
