I'm curious what you think about reading a child's texts? I monitor screen time and have installed software that limits internet searches on my daughter's phone. As for communication with her peers, I periodically read her texts without her knowledge. I have a friend who is doing the same (our daughters are both 13), and she's recently noticed that her daughter is deleting texts between her and her boyfriend. How should this be handled? We've both read Teen Proofing and are trying not to micromanage, but wonder how that applies to technology use?
