Time for a Potty Training Refresher

Question

We are so thankful for the help we have received from The Well-Behaved Child and Making the Terrible Twos Terrific. Currently, we have been able to get our two year old (29 months old today) out of our bed and sleeping in the room with her 5 1/2 year old sister. Praise God!

Is it common for children at this age (25-29 months) with this kind of transition to regress? She started potty training early, around 15 months, and was doing so well. We went on a trip in January and she started wetting her panties again (not always but frequently, especially at bedtime) and now has reverted to pooping in her panties for the past week. Does this have anything to do with wanting to be a baby again because we've really stressed that "big" girls sleep all night in their own bed and "big" girls peepee and poopoo in the potty? Any advice on how to handle this situation?

Thanks for your help!
