Question
I have a nineteen year old son who is displaying behaviors of depression. He is not eating, hiding in his room all day, refuses to participate in friend activities unless it is with his girlfriend. His father has a narcissistic personality disorder. He currently lives in another state. My son is seeing a counselor and psychiatrist for depression. He is ruminating about how cruel his father was to him as a child, calling him names, and hitting him in the face with a baseball. How can I teach my child to move on, accept the past and make a better future.
