Is boredom good or bad for toddlers? I've read differing opinions. I'm referring to free, unstructured, tv-free time in a yard or playroom setting.
Some have said it leaves them under-stimulated and stunts their intellectual growth because it isn't filled with a structured teaching activity on the part of the parent, while others have said it gives them room to cultivate their own imagination and intrinsic curiosity.
