Question
My 18 month old daughter is on day 3 of potty training. My problem is she won’t stay on the potty long enough to go. She will dribble a little on the ground and point to it or step in it. I tell her she peed, pee goes in the potty and then lead her over to the potty, tell her to sit and then I walk away. She will pop right back up after a couple seconds. She has yet to go in the potty on her own. She went in the potty a couple times the first 2 days but only when I held her there, which I know was wrong. We read John’s potty book and I’m working on backing off but how do we get her to stay on the potty? Help!
