Hi John - I am curious on your thoughts of delayed driver's licenses for teens. I am noticing a trend of teens getting their driver's licenses later and later. My husband and I have encouraged our teens to get their licenses, going as far to enact an incentive program. If they don't get their license they either have to contribute to gas money for us shuttling them around when we shouldn't have to, or find their own ride. I feel them driving and having a license is a perfect opportunity to contribute back and help the family with errands, driving siblings, and overall respect for the parents time. If my kids didn't get their license I feel like they are telling me my time isn't important to them and that I am there to drive them around. Your thoughts?
