Question
We are having some difficulties potty training our 2.5 yr old daughter. She showed interest last summer, so we bought her a little potty and pull-ups. She started doing fairly well, but still went a fair amount in her pull-ups. Then, suddenly, she no longer showed interest and rarely wants to sit on the potty. We brought home twin boys two months ago, and know that this probably has some impact on the situation. We are just not sure how to proceed at this point. Sometimes she will sit on the potty, but most of the time not, and when we try to get her to go sit on it once an hour, she gets very upset. She also complains that her bottom hurts when she goes Poopoo in her diaper. We keep trying to tell her to tell us when she needs to go, and her bottom will not hurt, but she doesn't. We do not want to make it a punishment, but not sure what to do. Any advice? Thank you!
