Question
My 13 year old son is near sighted and has glasses and contacts to correct this. He needs to be reminded on a regular basis to wear his glasses/contacts as he prefers to go without either. My initial feeling was that if he really needs them, he will put them on. At his last eye appt, the doctor told us that by not wearing his glasses/contacts, he is hurting his good eye because it is having to work harder to compensate. So...without nagging and micromanaging, how do I make this glasses/contacts his problem and not mine as he is still not committed to wearing them even after hearing this from the doctor.
