Question
I would like a new behavioral strategy for dealing with my 2.5 year old. He hits and doesn’t listen when I am occupied with my 5 month old. When I put him in timeout, I have to hold him and then he thinks it’s a big game. He gets upset and cries whenever I get scared or angry. This morning he put a bottle cap in his mouth and I freaked out and he started to cry. Due to Covid, he has been out of daycare with me on maternity leave so I believe he is bored and constantly wants my attention.
