Question
At what age can I start using tickets? I tried for a while with my 2.5 year old but she just chewed/folded/tore them up and thought they were toys. So far time out and pictures taped to the fridge sometimes work but not all the time. I have thought about taking away her toys or books but she will find something to play with. Also that would be punishing her little brother (1.5) even if he hasn’t done wrong. At this point our main challenges are obeying right away, attitudes, and some fits. Sometimes we do really well but then other times we struggle more. I’m not sure what consequences will make sense to her at her age. Do you have any suggestions for ways to discipline her that she will understand at this age?
