7 yo begging for treats

Question

My seven year old daughter has a sweet tooth and some unhealthy eating habits that I am concerned could become quite problematic. I do not bring sweets into the house or keep many snacks on hand, however, she still sneaks things from the pantry (like Splenda packets or spoonfuls of sugar) and hides the evidence in her room. I try to not micromanage her relationships with grandparents and others who let her eat whatever garbage she wants, but I also notice her plumping up and do not want to let this behavior spiral into obesity or worse. With grandparents (both sides), she is constantly begging for treats and becomes quite the obnoxious nuisance about it all. Any suggestions to nip this in the bud?
