Question
My kids (2 yr and 1 yr) are both terrified of the vacuum. I thought that the older one was less scared and was getting over the fear but then she suddenly went back to crying and sometimes almost screaming. I think she’s more scared of the vacuum than the baby is. If she can hold a stuffed animal or her brother or someone else can hold her that seems to help her not be as scared but today when she had to pick up some toys near the vacuum (it wasn’t even plugged in yet) she started wailing while she picked them up. I’ve explained to her several times that the vacuum can’t get her and that it won’t hurt her. I offered to let her help me push the vacuum. I’m not sure how to help her get over this fear.
