Question
Our 19 year old son has completed his first year of college and we have recently found he has been making lifestyle choices totally against what we have taught him. His phone life is where we discovered this. We have taken the phone away and have said we won't support him financially. Besides some of these "wake up" call kinds of decisions we would also like to find some positive "punishments" that might direct him on a better path. Do you have suggestions? We are considering gap year experiences etc. We do not intend to send him back to college this fall on our dime at this point.
